This van is in good shape and runs great.
It's been stored under a carport while I've had it.
The tires are good; fridge, stove, sink and bathroom work.
It includes an aftermarket sound system and a backup camera.
I've taken it for some wonderful cross-country trips and have thoroughly enjoyed it but I'm moving out of the country, and I need to pass it on to a new owner.
There are a few issues to mention:
- The generator is in need of a tuneup. I had it looked at and various parts cleaned and/or replaced but it's still at the stage where it will turn over but won't fully start. I'm under a bit of a time crunch to sell the van so I'm going to go with the generator as is.
- There is a problem with the engine battery losing power if the van sits for a long time without running.
Clearly something with the separator but I don't know what it is. My fix (which works well) has been to install a battery disconnect screw and that works great.
When the van is stored, I just unscrew it and so far, I've had no problems.
- There are a few cracks in the back bumper.
- The paint is peeling on the roof, especially around the trademark three windows.
- The seats are fraying and could use new covers.
- There has been some leakage around the inside of the three windows which I have successfully managed with silicone.
- There's a broken hinge on the large outside storage compartment. It closes and locks but there's a gap.
The van will need to be picked up from Virginia.
