This ETrek model by RoadTrek is their most electrically independent unit.
It has 470 watts of solar panels, 4 lithium battery packs (800 amps), two 300 watt inverters, and an engine powered under-hood generator.
It has an induction stove top and a Wabasto diesel hydronic cabin heating system to conserve electricity when not connected to power.
It is built on a silver Mercedes Sprinter 3500 van with a 5000# towing hitch.
It has 16” Aluminum wheels, A Kenwood info unit with CarPlay, back up camera, and blind spot warning system.
Then interior is tan with ebony cabinets. It has a powered awning, full insect screen package, microwave/oven, refrigerator, 24” TV system.
I have had dealers upgrade the second row seat support for safety, replaced batteries, and replaced the serpentine belt.
We bought it from Camper World in March 2020 with 525 miles on it and little indication that it had been used.
We have only used it driving to see grandchildren in Denver during covid. We never did use it to camp in.
There is a learning curve in managing power without propane, but there is also a freedom to it. I wish I had it when I was younger.
