         Notes From President FRANCIS GRIFFIN

     I think our lives and the many blessings for which we are grateful for have been put “into perspective” since the horrendous tragedy in Haiti back in January. The magnitude of that catastrophe gives cause for us to feel so helpless, yet so blessed, for what we have and can do. Witness to that makes our efforts to endure the unusual cold and wintry weather even more rewarding as we make our plans! So, “lets get those Roadtreks on the road “ ! The FMCA\Roadtrek Chapter Rally in Albuquerque is about to commence with an exciting agenda……hope we’ll see you there ! And it is now time for us to be looking toward Redmond, Oregon and the summer Chapter Rally, in conjunction again with the 84th FMCA International Convention. Watch the FMC magazine for details \ registration form.

And now we have a “new challenge” ! “A Dozen Does It” whereby FMCA is challenging our Chapter, as well as the entire FMCA membership, to kick their recruiting efforts into high gear for 2010…..introducing new families to FMCA. Let’s help increase the FMCA membership while at the same time giving benefits to our Chapter. The members you recruit for FMCA do not have to be the owner of a Roadtrek. I still have a limited number of first-year-free membership coupons. Let’s see how many you can recruit ! Look for more details in the latest FMCA magazines, or ask me about it ! Look elsewhere in this issue for the report on 2009 Rally registrations. Lets plan on increasing the number of rallies, and the number of rallies that you’ll be attending ! That’s where the fun is !!
