         Notes From President FRANCIS GRIFFIN

     ‘Tis the peak of the rally season, so I’m hoping you’ve taken advantage of one or more of the many rallies being held around the country ! They are the “grass roots” of where the fun is and where we meet so many of our Roadtrek friends. And if you haven’t been a “Rally Leader”, I encourage you to give that thought, and seek out a choice spot somewhere……so that it can be shared with other Roadtrek friends.

I want to thank those of you who have participated in FMCA’s “A dozen does it” promotion…..with your efforts, we have now surpassed the two dozen mark ! We’ll soon be leaving for our summer Chapter Rally and meetings in Redmond, Oregon and the opportunity to see more of our beautiful northwest. I look forward to seeing many of you there and sharing in the fun and excitement of another FMCA International Convention ! If you haven’t been to one, I encourage you to do so.

I have recently been made aware of a misunderstanding relative to our participation and reporting at the FMCA Governing Board meetings. Let me assure you that we have had representation at all such meetings by our National Director and\or Alternate National Director. Reports are always given at our Chapter Executive Board meeting and our Chapter Meetings, following the FMCA meetings. If you take a look at our reports on the Roadtrek International website, you’ll find those reports. We are one of the largest and most active chapters of FMCA and have a strong allegiance to FMCA ! Should there be questions, do let me hear them.
