Start learning the words to "Chattanooga Choo Choo".  The Choo Choo Rally is set for May 18 -21, 2020.

Chattanooga is a great tourist destination.  You will sleep on a battlefield!  In Nov. 1863 the city's major RR center fell to the North.  Chickamauga Battlefield is a short distance from the RV park.  We are also known as the Scenic City.  It is nestled on the Tennessee River surrounded by mountains.  The world famous Incline RR, Lookout Mountain Battlefield Visitor Center, Rock City with spectacular views of the city and a view of seven states on a clear day to name a few.  We also have a world class aquarium, art museum, and miles of beautiful paved bike trails along the river. You may consider a ride on a WWII "duck" and then pig out on Little Debbie's Moon Pies, since they are made near Chattanooga.

You must make your own reservations with Holiday Travel Park, 1623 Mack Smith Rd., Rossville, Ga. 30741. 800-693-2877.  *8am-8pm. 30 sites are held until April 8th. The rate per night is $41.65 per site.  Sites will be assign upon arrival. Pool and clubhouse are a short walk from mostly shaded sites. Take Exit #1  off I- 75.  1 mile to RV park.  The park is about 6 miles from the center of Chattanooga.  It is located approximately one mile from  Camping World.  Upon confirmation please contact Larry Young at, (423)316-4913 or Woodie McCormack,  We need your name, home address, FMCA #, e-mail, model and year of Roadtrek, any special needs, and distance to rally,  Once we receive this information you will receive a guide to the Chattanooga area.

Arrive on Monday, the 18th to register, meet and greet, and a pot luck dinner (meat provided).  One night will be a catered meal. One dinner may be off site. Sausage/biscuits, doughnuts, etc. for breakfast each morning 7 – 9.  The rally fee has yet to be determined.

Possible group activities are in the planning stage. Maybe a riverboat dinner cruise, old mountain music demo, or  a ranger lecture about the Battle of Chattanooga. There will be the usual games and some prizes, and an original painting of Lookout Mt.  Join us and stay as long as you want.  On May 21 we will have a farewell breakfast.
